Re: Can it be saved?
Thanks everyone for the great information. I disassembled it as soon as I got it home but now other projects have gotten in the way. Planning to get back on it in a few days. And yes, I definitely want to use it on a well.

Can it be saved?
I purchased a Hudson hand pump from a junk store yesterday. I have disassembled it to the point you can see in the pictures. It appears to be complete but a couple of pieces are broken. The top flange at the threaded bushing and also, the top rod guide. Probably not what they are called but ...

Re: Windmill and tree maintenance
The only good thing about low hanging Mesquite limbs, is 90% if them you can cut off standing on the ground.
Do you have any Mesquite trees you want completely removed? And are any of them large enough to saw into lumber? I've sawm several Mesquite trees on my mill and built items with the wood ...

Re: Aermotor windmill platform wood
On my Baker Monitor platform, I used 2x12 treated. I lap jointed the corners and used a roundover router bit on all edges. It's nice and strong and will hopefully last for years. I personally would avoid the treated plywood. IMO, it doesn't look as nice and I'd be concerned that the veneers would ...

Re: Windmills on cellphone towers
I've never seen or maybe noticed anything like that in Texas either. I have seen cell towers decorated like trees when traveling in Colorado so maybe there is something to finding loop holes with the local regulations.

Re: Baker WB21
Hi Scott, welcome aboard. I have the Baker WC, similar to your mill but with the 8' fan. I'm fairly new to windmilling and this site so I watch post like this for information that can help me. After I purchased my mill, guys on this forum helped me identify it and gave many great suggestions. And I ...
