Yes, the flat steel step would be hard on the feet but men were men back then,with hard boots! lol

Had a e-mail from Issiaih Yott of the Kregel windmill factory museum he thought it looks as if it could be a ELI Tower. Any thoughts?

The mill appears to be a double gear Butler. Not sure this tower fits the Butler. Could it be a early Dempster?
