I started this thread in September 2023 , so a year and a half later i lifted the motor onto the stub tower , still need a fan , but we are getting closer

Dan , thank you for the photo , now I understand what the slots on the back side were used for , to hold the electric motor , but , now I also would like to have the shield that protects the belt drive ...
Yes it appears #1 & 2 cast iron bonnett would be the same .

newest "prize " , am in need of the cast iron bonnett that covers the crankcast . OR , borow one as a pattern to a new replacement cast .

not in my hands yet , will be delivered next week , part of the deal for the free downed Aermotor & tower , i traded motor for transportation from Houston area to New Braunfels , love those 3 way deals ! from the online photo the pump jack does need the crankcase cover , now exposed to the elements ...

Tim , on an earlier post for the Aermotor pumpjack i watched it for a week , zero bids , till Monday morning starting at 10AM , quite the flury of bidders , i was stupid and "won " the pumpjack . I paid toooo much , but i wanted a Aermotor jack with my A702 windmill . so .

Coleman is out in the middle of nowhere , and yes Dan avoid them , they have a desease called Dempsteritis

Got the A602 off the Aermotor stub shaft , tower split and all loaded , head had been worked sometime in the past , but NEVER maintained , NO sign there was ever oil in the case , but good tower , and the price was right , owner was happy windmill is off the fence and gone .
