Temple Texas Engine & Tractor Show

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about vintage wind generators, in most cases.

Temple Texas Engine & Tractor Show

Displayed a few wind chargers at the show. Got a lot of looks going down the highway with the big Streamliner sitting up that high. Huge crowd this year.

That's a really neat display. Do you transport the gens upright on the trailer?

Only the Streamliner was upright for the trip. I like the rigging challenge. Generator weighs about 300lb and stub tower is 6’.

That's a show on my bucket list since I can combine the show and visiting cousins in the Georgetown area.
