1st day after 40 yr rest

addition proud phots of windmill standing 1st time in 40 years
storm took it down them someone torched the legs off and she laid in the hedge row for YEARS.
took me 2 years to rebuild Aermotor 3 legged tower .
attached photos of the 1st day up with ATF for oil.

you noticed the propane tank hanging off the pump rod.
a few months ago there was extensive conversation concerning how much weight to add to make the windmill think its sucking water and working the motor.
I just happened to have a full tank so that's what got hung.
Some day the Oshkosh pump, John Deere pump jack and John Deere model E engine will be mounted under the tower. It's just time and money. :lol:

Looks great. I love the tripod towers. The 6 footer I am rebuilding will go on a
tripod also. Nice work.

OK, i didnt like the propane tank either, added the water pump today, starting to look a real windmill.
