Looks like they are 5/8” steel balls. McMaster-Carr, Grainger, Amazon or eBay are good options to purchase race balls from.

Isn't Verdon still selling parts. You can get the balls a lots of places but where to get the spacers.

Verdon is still there and in business to my knowledge as I talked with them about 5-6 months back. Although I have spacers in my WB, I run just the ball bearings in my other turntables.

Spacers are good for not installing (like) 30 balls. Use a couple of bunji cords to hold the top down on the turntable. If you don't, even a small knock will upset all the balls and spacers and send (probably) most of them down the well. Monitors are horrible for keeping balls in the race while setting the mill.
