Even more progress on the WC 8.....
Got this WC 8 hanging in my pole shed until it warms up some time next spring. Too cold for me for windmill stuff here in Central MN. Got it together a bit more, still want to tweak the wheel a bit to make it run more true. Otherwise a good two coats of cold galvanizing compound with a bit of thinner to help spray it out under compressed air. Should look nice when it's all up. Still debating if I should spray the tower, or leave it alone. It is a 45 foot Baker/Monitor tower. I'm leaning towards leaving it. The reason I sand blasted and sprayed the blades is that they were very rusty. No coating on them after years sitting on an old wagon where I bought it. This is the mill I talked about in the previous posts. I'm excited to see it up and running again.

That's great. Love those old Monitors, except they're a bit top-heavy.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.
