Steam Engine Flyball Gov.
I took this thing apart and cleaned and painted but forgot to take a picture before I did. Does anyone know if I put it back together right if you have one like it? Thanks Dan !!!

Wayne do you know if the handle on the right is to throttle it up or throttle it down. Is there one on yours.
Re: Steam Engine Flyball Gov.
Throttle down . as the weight opens as rpm's increase the shaft in the center is rised , pulled up , and the right lever moves down . therefor slowing down the engine .

Sweet sweet music when the log hits the saw blade and the governor kicks in on a steam engine, and it starts popping.
