Lordsburg, NM

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Dan, I blew it up a little and overexposed it some. Don't know if this helps.

I don’t know if anyone will understand but here I go…..
I visit windmills when I travel. It recharges my karma and quiets the noise of the road.
The windmill at Lordsburg has an amazing past and watches so much of life moving at a fast pace at it’s new home.
As I get older, I feel the need to record our visits for I fear one of us may not be able to visit again.

All windmills have a story to tell, and I work hard to listen. Give it try sometime.

Kevin I totally agree with you. I believe all windmills have there own personality and when me and my brother see one we say if only that windmill could talk the stories it could tell. Also thanks for the pics it confirms it is a Stover it has the inner and outer sail ties!!!

How neat it would have been to have been around when the windmills were putting their stories together. Probably wouldn't had listened back then Would of had other things on my mind.
