Close-up views of Aermotor Power Mill on Tower
While doing some research a couple of days ago, I got a chance to ride a scissors lift to the top of a tower and look at a machine that's been erected at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in Hastings, MN. Here's what I saw:

Here's a few more. (By the way, it was my first use of a lift to "climb" a tower and it was good enough to spoil me forever!)

Burt , thanks for riding the rickety sissor lift up that high , the closeup photos are really good , someone will use then to help restore another .

I've been up in a scissor lift and one of those tow behind boom lifts. The scissor lift is like standing on solid rock compared to that boom sticking 40 ft in the air. It's pucker time the whole time you are in the air.

Burt i think I have a piece that belongs to your it's the piece that holds the mill down on the mast pipe. Look at the 4th picture down from the top.
