New one from Switzerland

Post by Leopard66 »

Hello everyone,
I'm Michael, I live in beautiful Switzerland. But unfortunately we don't have any windmills here, at least not Texas style. Only large windmills for electricity. I wanted to put an 8' wind turbine with a 32' tower in the garden. But the building inspector in my community says no. It's a shame... now I want to build a 6' wind turbine myself, just for nostalgic reasons, just for show.

Greetings
Michael

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum. What part of Switzerland are you from? I'm from Welschenrohr, canton Solothurn but have been living in Ontario, Canada for many years.
I did see one in Escholzmatt, Lucerne. Too bad they got the tail on backwards, looks awful that way.

The tail points in the direction the wind is blowing. :D
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.
