Looking for a complete tail vane for a 6’ open gear Currie…also needing the lower pivot mount hardware and a tower cap.

I saw a currogated one on fb mp earlier. Looked like it might have been a 6 footer, not positive.

Now have a tail vane that matches my patina…just need a lower vane swivel, tower cap and storm stay.

super simple design w/wooden pitman arms , i can't imagine how often the farmer was supposed to oil that open gear , and didn't .

Me too…I try not to stray from the early wind electrics but there’s something about the open gears. They’re kinetic sculptures with patina.
