Maintenance on Aerial
My portable 6ft Aermoter started making a slight clunk so time to check things out and grease her up again. Strictly greased cause she's up and down a lot. Only problem I found was the one pitman was dry time to add zerks to them too. Shaft already has them.

Re: Maintenance on Aerial
Put the zerks in the pitmans no more taking them off to grease. Jerry when the maintenance is completed I will attempt to video it.

Dan , my only question is your choice of headlights on the IH tractor?
The pitcher pump is just right size for the demo setup, all a clever way to show how a windmill works

Looking Good!
Re: Maintenance on Aerial
Do you just take the vane and tailbone off for transport? Or how does the whole unit lay on the trailer going down the road?

Re: Maintenance on Aerial
Matthew i take the tailbone off and lay the mill wheel facing down. If you look at the second photo up from here you'll see a couple wooden blocks on the trailer that supports the tower and a rubber roller on the end of the trailer the face of the hub rests on so the wheel just touches the deck with equal pressure.
