Check area under windmill….
As you approach a windmill (or wind charger), make sure you check the area around the base. Tendency is to look up as you approach. Fortunately I was weed eating and not walking up to release the brake. I generally carry a 9mm w/snake shot when I weed eat for this reason. He’s about 3’…definitely woke me up.

This year has been really bad for rattle snakes in the garden, they are in the tomatoes for some reason, it has happened once in a while but not like this year. We have three kinds here, the Prairie Rattlers are the only ones that scare me, they are so much more aggressive. Diamond backs rarely come after me unless you have really provoked them.

Here in NY we have certain areas with Timber Rattlers, someone had a video posted of about two 3-4 footers fighting in the highway the other day
