Inland 15 Bale Automatic Stooker

I know this is entirely not windmill related, thus posted in regular “General Discussion”. But we have an Inland 15 Bale Automatic Stooker. Serial Number 41. There’s thousands and thousand of the “6 pack” stookers out there but I’ve never seen another 15 bale one anywhere and curious if anyone here has. Built in the late 60’s, early 70’s and came out of Canada. All mechanical and a definitely a product of its area. I heard they didnt gain much in popularity because square baling as a whole was on its way out around the same time with the introduction of the round baler.

We have a tractor loader attatchment that lets you pick them up directly out of the field and on to trailer, no manual labor and stacking required. Plus, for storage, at an angle, they shed water better and the bottom ones don’t sit flat on the ground and rot, just the very edges. Also can actually flip them upside down. So you would stack two triangles beside each other, flip the next one upside down in the middle, and then add another one upright on top to make a big triangle stack!

At best, i think you guys would like seeing it anyways!

Wow1 Thanks for the photos. Never seen such a machine before. Remember being in Amish country in Western Pennsylvania once and saw my first baler with an ejector. It would shot the bales into a wagon. A man was riding in the wagon to stack them as they come flying in.

Wayne those square hay balers that throw the bales in the wagon are referred to as KICKERS. Some farmers up here still use them but most have gone to the round bales.
