Butler Jr Spider

Did the Butler Jr. use the same wheel spoke spider for both the wood and metal wheel? I got a 1930s part list for the thing that was not in production then, it only shows one wheel spider with the scallops between spokes like on a wood spoked wheel. I suppose they could have bolted metal spokes on it as well but seemed odd, but at that point in time it looks like the metal version would be present on the list if different? Any ideas? Thanks
