I picked this Dempster pump jack up this past week. It appears to be complete with only one broken (but fixable) part. All the part numbers start with”1DW” so I assume that’s the pump’s model number. I’ve not been able to find anything related to it on the web.
Any chance anyone has any information/documentation (catalog, parts list, etc.) for this pump that they’d be willing to share. I would be greatly appreciative for any help or information.
Thanks, and regards,
Jim

Re: Dempster pump jack
I have one almost identical to it. When we first moved to the country, it was installed on the 2 inch cased well. I remember the shower water pulsing as it was running LOL. We changed it to a jetpump soon afterwards, and wow was that a luxury. Before I sold the place I changed the jetpump to a new well and submersible, and man that was ultra luxury! Still have my old original pump like yours. I may have looked it up a hundred years ago, but I don't know where the info is. I will probably rund down to the shop and drag it inside and spray it down. It used to be free and working, but probably not now. Oh and the pulley on mine was changed over to a V belt for an electric motor.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

I've got one also. All that extra stuff on the front is to pump into a pressure tank. I've got all that too. I've got a book about how it all goes together. Jim I'll see if I can find it, and if you want it you can have it for the shipping cost.

Wayne,
I would appreciate that. I'd be glad to drive up to your place for a visit and buy lunch.
Thanks.

Re: Dempster pump jack
After looking at mine yesterday, I see that it actually does still have the flat pulley on it, and it is not frozen up.

Sounds good. We'll try to make it a day when it hasn't rained and the wind isn't blowing at 20 MPH.

Text me first with your number. I can't find it in my phone. I sometimes don't answer numbers I don't know.
