Windmill 702 saerch

Post by clodus777 »

Hello friends,
my name is Claude, I am 45 years old and I am an aeronautical engineer at Air France on Boeing 777 and 787.
I am French and live in France near Paris, I allow myself to come to this site because I have been looking for a windmill aermotor 702 for several years now in France and they are impossible to find, either the people who have one abandon them and do not want to sell them or they do not want to part with them so it is not easy ...
I am looking for a 6' windmill 702 in fairly good condition complete at a fair price because you have to add to the price the transport by boat I imagine and customs.
Indeed I would like to put a little American touch to my garden by adding this windmill on my well
thank you all for your best proposals
Claude

Welcome to the forum.

I’m sure someone can point you in the right direction to acquire a X702 and provide insight into international shipping. The “X” denotes a 6’ model in X702.

Claude , another question is , how tall a tower would you like to install you Aermotor on top of .? With your education and experience assmbly of a thousand pieces should be straight forward . Good luck .

Thank you very much for your answers. Yes I hope to find that quickly, I surfed the network a bit and it comforted me to see that there were really a lot of Americans, who were fans of these famous windmills, it's really a shame that in France people leave them abandoned. Concerning the pylon, I was thinking of making it in angle iron because there for the time being it risks being really heavy to transport from the USA. I think that a 21' pylon would be enough

hello
i would need to find the complete windmill head part as well as 6' stub towers and pipe base assembly to be able to start again on my pylon unless for transport it is possible in a way that is not too expensive and in this case have it come complete which would be much better and nicer

Have you checked with the Aermotor Co. of San Angelo, Tx. to see if they might offer a package deal/

hello
yes I sent them an email but I didn't get a response from them, I think they only have new ones according to the website but I prefer one that is a bit old, it's nicer, one that has a history.
but it would definitely be easier to go through them directly
