Aermotor regulator

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Aermotor regulator

Post by babraid »

Hello!
Thought everybody might enjoy a pic of an Aermotor flow regulator I found in my friend's junk collection. I hear that they were especially used on windmills that were supplying a home's cistern.

Mike -
Awesome pic of a regulator "in situ" - I hadn't seen one actually attached to a windmill. Thanks 🙂

It's so freakin' cold here in Denver!

Aermotor regulators and really any regulator is neat. I have a few Aermotor regulators and I’m planning to put on my Aermotor windmill towers for looks, like Mike did.
