Windmills from Australia

Post by Wayne »

Here are some windmill shots I saw this morning from down in Australia. The gentleman who posted them is doing a walk about. [attachment=3]20250328_140918.jpg[/attachment

Australia has some neat windmills and some big ones too. Nice photos.

Many of the towers that I see on Australian windmills make me think of the Axtell towers that lack galvanization or are otherwise rusty. Makes me wonder if they were plan steel, galvanized or cadmium plated. Axtell towers were cadmium plated. Galvanized towers of that period look much better decades or a century later.
