New from SW OK

Post by Machdrvr »

Hello all. Thanks for welcoming me aboard your forum. I have the old Baker Heller-Aller Model 6 that was standing on our old homestead when we moved to the farm in 1965. I was about 4 years old at the time. My dad took it down sometime in the late 1970's. I have what is left of it and I'm just starting the process of restoring it. I have the gearbox and mast and the tail vane. I have one spoke and brace from the wheel.

I thought that old windmill was just the coolest thing and I'd like to put it up to remind me of the old days and when I was a kid. Gonna be a long project but I'm retired now so it's gonna be something to keep me busy.

Thanks again!
