Re: Jackson Windmill
There is a lot more to Jackson than his windmills.
He was a remarkable man and he encouraged and supported others to develop new ideas and companies.
If you have time, take a look at the attached PDF.

Kevin,
You might want to ask Paul to add your pdf to the "Windmill Manufacturer Literature and Documentation" section of the forum. Just a suggestion.
Regards and Happy New Year!

Wayne, yes that was me who responded to the post. I'm thinking I posted a link to the article back then on the old forum.
Re: Jackson Windmill
I thank all for getting interested. I knew it interested me when I saw it and wanted to know more. Thanks Kevin for the pdf. I'll be reading it and saving it and probably print me a copy so I it will be handy for future reference. When the name said Agriculture Works I was thinking there had to be a lot more to the story.
Re: Jackson Windmill
Windy I read your post. What is interesting in the history of the man it talks about a self feeder for cutting grain and delivering to a traveling thrashing machine. Under a thread in smokstack a man posted a picture of what looks to be a traveling thrashing machine. It has a platform on it for the baggers to bag the grain and a shoot to slide the bags down to the ground like they had on the first combines.
