I'm speechless. Trying to get my mind wrapped around this. May strength inhabit all those concerned, and involved.

Sorry to hear this. Jim was a big help when I was restoring my F&W Star 37. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

fellow windmillers

I am proud to have known Jim and saddened to hear of his passing, I had the privlidge to visit him at his farm one day by chance when i bought some tractor weights that turned out to be close to him. I stopped at Pat Hunts first and told him where we were going and he insisted that i go see Jim , after a call we stopped by and got the grand tour. I have also seen him at plenty of trade fairs......

My thoughts and prayers are with Beth and Jims sons and family

Very sad news indeed. I've known Jim for many years and we had the opportunity to work on several interesting projects together. Always enjoyed working with him because we "spoke the same windmill language" and understood each other. Good bye my friend and always "keep facing the wind"... Ivan Block

Thanks for posting the picture. I couldn't find one and didn't know if I knew him or not. Now I know we had crossed paths, saw him one year at Portland In. How old a fellow was he? Doesn't look that old.
