Mike, l just got lucky on my first pour. I did a lot of watching YouTube videos on pouring babbit. I picked up tips from each one. Then I applied what I learned on my pour. One thing I learned is to pack the babbit rite tight. Doesn't take much to have a leak. Here is the main frame poured and ready for paint.

Yes. It is clean after I cleaned it up. That's just me.

Got my mainframe painted today. Also brush painted the bed plate, the vane casting, and the big gear. See pics
