Need Help Identifying

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Michael that parts list you found the part number for the crank plate on his direct stroke is it possible to get the parts number for the tailvane hinge and the governor arm and weight so I can compare them with the back stroke model. Much appreciated Dan !!

The “rudder casting” is OK10 1/4, the “governor arm” is OK6 and the “balance weight” is AK29.

The only difference between the two are the letters the numbers are the same. Maybe they would interchange i can't say. Maybe someone else will know.

The “governor arm” # OK6 is still on the mill it appears , the missing stem will be whatever size iron pipe slides into the sleeve .....I'd be curious about what all is hooked on the chain thats all wrapped up in the works ....

To me it looks like the chain is used to stop the wheel from turning.
