I just acquired a John Deere E engine, parts are missing, that's why it was so cheap LOL
i need a complete magneto assembly
and
a igniter assembly
does any one have a couple of used parts for sale ?

i need , but boy are their prices high, OH, it does say John Deere on the case doesn't it. HA
That's what I get for thinking a JD pump set up under this Aermotor tower would look cool.
Just looking for good quality less expensive parts.

Just come from Portland In. There weer a lot of John Deere E's for sale. Didn't really check the prices.

Wayne, I have been told it would be less expensive to purchase a complete running JD engine than try to reserect a non running origional, worn out, frozen piston , cracked block , missing parts, etc.

That would be my thought. Be sure if you go that way you make the seller start it while you are watching. I've accepted the answer oh yeah it starts easy and runs good before. Then get it home and things aren't quit as I was told. Good Luck
