Hello, just joined. Hoping to find answers to some questions on the scale "model" windmill I am building. I have had a fascination with windmills from a distance for years and I finally decided to build my own.
I am a welder/fabricator with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently I am using PAD (paper aided design) and building everything with hand drawn sketches.
Are pictures attached or do I just drag the pic into the post? Well, one way to find out.

Really nice work.what size wheel do you use
Re: Arizona on board
The center hub was an exercise in engineering, math and machining, plus I built a welding positioner to do the welds. The completed wheel is 48" diameter.
