Rollable stub mills suggestions
I will soon be moving my mills on 3 and 4ft stub towers from my shop to my barn after I get the roof on this week. The floor is solid plank flooring. I want to be able to roll the mills on stub towers around.I need to build a frame with rollers to bolt the stub towers too so they don't tip over when moving. Open to suggestions and pics. Thanks Dan

Dan , with this much dedecated space does it mean someday you will host a Windmill Fair ?
Maybe it will be close enough to Canada for or northern friends to attend .

I have learned the hard way not to use rubber rollers on windmill stands. No cheepies either. All they do is fold over, or get a flat side.
Nice barn. Looking good!

Dan,
This is what I came up with. 36" square 3/4" plywood with steel casters. Largest mill I've used on these is an 8' F&W. The small casters work fine on a concrete floor.
Regards,
Jim
