Historical Marker

Post by Wayne »

I wanted to share some excitement with my windmill friends. For those that don't know I wrote an Texas Historical Marker application for a Merrit Drane. He did much to build Corsicana and Navarro County from the 1860s until his death in 1895. The story didn't end there. His family legacy is still giving money for projects in Corsicana and Navarro County today. The application was approved August 4th of last year. I got word yesterday that the marker is ready to be shipped. Walking around on cloud nine. :D
