Hello all,
I see lots of good info. sharing here in the forum and am offering what I can regarding a Beatty Pumper rebuild I'm working on. It's all torn down now so if anyone needs any measurements or pics of anything please reach out. Not sure what model I have but see letters PB1 on the gearcase casting and it's 8' dia. rotor. A couple of rotor arms need replacing and I got them out without issue. Is there a simple method to get the radius bent into the new ones after flatening the end?
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Paul,
If I can't find arms for my Beatty I will have to make 5 of them.
Did you use a conduit bender?

its a real process you have to heat up one side only then beat it over a die i made to get correct shape
took me a while to figure out how to do it

Paul I am guessing it is better if you heat the stretching part as opposed to the shrinking?
Have you tried both ways to see which way worked better?
Thanks.

Today I took the arm off the two sail sections it was tying together. There is only about 1/2 inch of threads left.
Me thinks that may not be enough. Not good.
