Fan ID

Post by Ron Stauffer »

I lifted these pics off of FB of an unusual blade set on this Aer 602. Nobody IDed them.

OF course they are not Aermotor. I am 99.9% sure of the manufacturer but dont want to prejudice anyones's thinking. Someone went to a lot of work to retro

Anyone else know?

They look like roof sections off of a small steel bin or hog feeder. ??

Not. a fan blade per se but could have been the literal derivation of the idiom.

Not from a building.

Two guesses so two clues.

Built 70 years ago in Iowa, close to Greg.

Original paint color was red

Tractor or implement related?

The brake band looks like it is lined.

I admit I didn't notice the brake lining.

Implement, later ones were blue.

The real clue is in the first line of my last post if you know my twisted mind with word games...
