Power Mill

Post by Wayne »

While in Elk City, Ok. for my sisters funeral I visited their Route 66 Museum complex. What a great site. They not only have a Route 66 Museum , they have a Old Town Museum a Agriculture Museum and a Black Smith Museum. The Ag Museum is probably the best I've ever been to and I've been to a bunch. IT had this Brantford Power mill. What is interesting about the mill is I was at the auction in 2003 when it was bought. I bought a F&M gas engine. Then I saw this thing called a Peanut Picker. I've got a lots of AG equipment books and been to a lots of farm shows but never knew their was a mechanical peanut picker.

Paul, It has Brantford on the Vane and Goolsby Shapley & Muir Co. What was the connection?
