Not sure about this wheel

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Not sure about this wheel

Post by windybob »

I have a partial wheel laying around for years. I'm thinking IXL but not sure. Also part of the hub with numbers on it.

Maybe some help here? Thanks! And no, the hub does nat have BOB on it. LOL Maybe 803??

I'm in the process of putting ID tags on everything laying around. Up to 100 so far.

Also if it helps, where the bridge is in the wheel arms, there is a separator tube with a bolt through it instead of the usual flat 1 inch steel bridge.

I’d go IXL too and if it is 803, shows to be a to be a “brace cup for steel wheel” for a 6’ or if it is a 802, it shows to be “spider for steel wheel” for a 6’.
