Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Salesman Sample for trade

Post by Gbalsick »

I want to trade. I am looking for either a salesman sample we do not have, or an early windmill (either wood or metal) that would help our collection. It does not need to be restored per say if it is the right windmill, just needs to be one that we don't have and are looking for! (Maybe 2) We are not looking to sell this salesman sample yet only trades accepted. Let me know what you have to trade! 71nine- 472*48one2!

Those Samson open gear salesman samples have nice detail. There are a couple of wood wheel salesman samples up for auction today on liveauctioneers.com, link below. One with the box. I'm amazed at what those things sell for.

What did they end up selling for? I can't see. I forgot to watch them.

I believe the one with the case went for $3500 and the tall one sold for $12.5k plus 22% auction fees.
