Hello all
Can this part be identified as a windmill part? It was in some other stuff that had windmillparts that I could identify, but not sure of this one.
Thank you
jerry

Re: What windmill part
Kinda resembles a tower cap but don't see what would hold it in place.
Re: What windmill part
It looks like 3 bolts that have been cut off

Re: What windmill part
Any casting #s? Is the hole the typical 2” or 2-3/8” as seen for many mast pipes?
Re: What windmill part
The hole is 1 3/4
Re: What windmill part
1.75” seems a little small for a mast pipe. I say that, I’ve never encountered a small windmill, meaning less than 6’ in diameter as I know there were some smaller models like the Monitor V, Samson open gear 4-3/4’, F&W Star 37 5’. So I’m stumped…

Re: What windmill part
I wasn't sure if those were broken or cut off bolts it could be off a three legged wind generator tower being the mast hole is small.
Re: What windmill part
forgot to say no part #'s after wire wheeling
Guess it gets put in the achive
Thanks for the interest

Re: What windmill part
Just a thought here. Could it be a well cap? 1 1/4" pipe would fit through the 1 3/4" hole. The three set screws would clamp it in place. Just a thought!
Re: What windmill part
