ID WINDMILL MANUFACOTOR
ID WINDMILL MANUFACOTOR
I was hoping that someone may be able to help identify the type of windmill head I have. The only marking on it are WAA1C1 which is on the side and on top of the head is" USE MEDIUM ZERO OIL" I have attached 3 photos, sorry I could not reduce the size of the photos any more than I have.

Re: ID WINDMILL MANUFACOTOR
Chester, you can make another post for more pictures. Only so many fit on a post.
I think I know what that is, but need a wider shot if you can.

That's a Fairbanks Morse worm Gear (WG) mill made in the 30's. They sold scads of those things.

Re: ID WINDMILL MANUFACOTOR
Bob, I'm going to try and tare down the WG today and see what parts I need for the head. Right now having trouble pulling the hub of the drive shaft. Thanks for the support.

Re: ID WINDMILL MANUFACOTOR
Pulling a hub can be near impossible. Might be easier to find what holds the worm gear on the shaft, and maybe slide it out.? Never had one apart yet. Take notes. Take pictures. Take you time! Be patient.
Not sure where exploded view pictures are. You might check the library section to see.
