My Monitor Model X places to put grease and a screw down piece to force it onto the shafts.

Wayne, there was an old Dempster made with brass rods that rode on the shafts. They went up into a grease area, and the friction from the rod caused the grease to slightly melt and run down to the bearing. Don't know what kind of special formula it was, also, it was a LONG time ago.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.
