One more up and running
Well it took longer than I had planned, but I finally got my F&W Star 37 restored and up and running. Great feeling to have it done. Amazing how relaxing it is to sit in the back yard with a cold beer and just watch it spin. There are many people to thank for helping me with this project, pretty much all of whom are members of this forum, including Kenneth, windybob, Chuck R., Dan B., SMAXX, Wayne, and many others.
Many thanks to everyone for the assistance, advise, suggestion, parts, drawings, images, etc. It is greatly appreciated.
Jim

Thanks Paul.
Side question:
Why are my images horizontal? Is there something I can do so they post upright?
Regards,
Jim

Long story short...or long.......When you take a digital photo, data about the event is stored with the image data in the file. This includes shutter speed, aperture, time of day, GPS location, etc., and orientation (landscape or portrait). When you imbed an image in a post, your web browser does not read the orientation data, and just displays the image as default landscape. This is because the forum software tells the browser to ignore the orientation data.
If you click on and open the imbedded image, your browser will then read the orientation data and typically display the image correctly. This is a common gripe about the PHPBB forum software. The developers choose not to address this for some reason. Pics will always display correctly if you take your photos landscape.

Paul,
Thanks for the explanation. In the future I'll try to take landscape images when applicable.
