What a great find, especially with the logo still legible on it!!

So on the next show it appears they got it back up and running but likely not for long with no oil, pretty beat up. Half of each fan blade are broken off, what a cluster.

So I watch the the other night and these two guys come up with a Aermotor that fell down. I guess a neighbor gave it too them. So they bring it out to a remote cabin where they want to put it up to generate some power. Well long story short they sort of butchered it up some and then the motor falls ...

That is really serious patina on some of those blades, even looks like a little bit of rust through on a few. That is a lot of work to clean up properly and then to paint. Sand blaster? Ok, so I have a couple options, use the mast pipe or I can cut off top and use stub tower. Thanks

So to be sure you think 6-8" cut off will make the angle match the stub tower? Maybe I should try to do a test fit on the ground after cut off.

Yes my tower has the dove tails and is Aermotor. The mast pipe is bent some so I guess it would be possible to use the other mast pipe the motor has but easier for me to slide the whole motor over the top after I cut the top off the tower. This 27' tower as is would require me to get up to the top ...

So I bought this Aermotor 602 with a pile of other parts and a real nice tower, looks to be Aermotor. The motor has a stub tower on it but the 25' tower is not set up for a stub tower. Can I just slide this stub tower set up right over the top and just drill needed holes to mount? This is not going ...

No it does not but complete truck with engine and transmission.
