Hello. I am the head restorationist at the DRY CREEK HISTORICAL SOCIETY
located in Boise, Idaho. We are an all volunteer 501C3 non profit organization. Our mission is to restore Idahos rich farming history. We are open to the public (free of charge)
We are in the last stages of finishing an Aermotor 602-B 10’ windmill. This will be a functional windmill pulling water from a well.
We need the correct tail vain. If anyone out there has the correct tail vain please reach out to me.
This particular windmill is from March of 1930.
As we are a non profit organization with not a lot of money we are hoping someone in this group can step up and help us locate the tail tin.
We can pay shipping but are hoping to get the tin for as little as possible. It is going to a great cause.
Check us out at
Drycreekhistory.org
Thanks so much,
Mark Chadwick

Re: Aermotor B602 help
Welcome to the forum.
I don’t have a spare B602/B702 tail pin, but you can buy one off of eBay. There are sellers on eBay and the B602/B702 (B510) tail pins range from $10 to $15 each, plus shipping. As opposed to pricing directly from Aermotor San Angelo, where the B510 tail pin is $70, plus shipping.
Someone else on here might have a spare tail pin for you.
