Beatty pumper spokes

I recently won the bid on an 8ft Beatty pumper. There were no spokes, only the stubs left in the hub. I managed to dig them out and cleaned
up the threads to usable condition. I bought 6 spokes from a fellow Alberta forum member. The price was right but turns out the threaded ends
were too badly ...

Re: Happy Birthday Joe H

To all.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. Very much appreciated. 86 seems to have crept up pretty fast. I celebrated my birthday yesterday along with
Easter dinner and family members. There are lots of left overs so won't be going out for dinner this evening.

Have received a number of phone call ...

Re: Monitor L crank plate

Thanks Terry. Looks easier said than done. Dose not not look like an easy job. Looks like it would be easier to remove
the crank and shaft together. I picked up a crank plate from Dan at the fair. The old crank plate broke and no sign of
the key.

Re: Black Could of Despair

I bought new fridge this spring. The old one did not have an ice maker so after making ice cubes by tray for 20 years in the old decided
to buy one. I could not get it installed as every thing is plastic and I did not want to force things so asked the dealer to send some one
out to install it ...

Re: Baker hole punch

I went to Saskatchewan last week to do the B602 job. Worked all day getting the old tower down and stub installed. Sure could have
used that punch. Took me about an hour to drill the holes. I drilled them using 3 different sizes of drill bits using 3 different drills.
Made it easier but working 100 ...

Re: Another 602 rebuild

Would JB Weld would work? There is no pressure at work here. I used JB on the rod that Holds the spring on the B602 I just
restored. The old rod was cut off at the case. In trying to drill it out some of the original thread got removed. Drill wandered.
I filled the hole and also applied a generous ...

Re: Baker hole punch

That stuff I bought was back in 2008. last year I picked up a 702 Aermotor with 4 extra sail sections. Included was a 8 foot stub tower
complete with furling. The fellow I purchased the mill from was going to weld every thing up so nothing could move and had planned to mount
it on his garage wall. I ...

Re: Baker hole punch

Mike, I am going to look into which colony has the craftsman that does cast welding. I have driven by a number of colonies. In fact I obtained my first Aermotor B602 wheel from one for the princely price of $50.00. Had no bullet holes in the sails but the vane was like a sieve.
I repoured the ...
